Logo and Theme

The theme: ‘Shine bright, bond tight’ has two parts. Shine bright stands for the light of the torch that can be seen in the logo. This torch brings light to the association, just like Japie’s key item, the squared gas lamp. It is also a reference back to and the theme of the last lustrum which was ‘Scatter your light’ and this light is what we now use to shine bright and be proud of the association and its members. The bond tight is of course a chemistry word play and represents the tight bond we share in this association that brings all of its members together.
